According to a Skyscanner study, the three most important components of a satisfactory flight are:

  1. time of day
  2. leg room
  3. on-time performance.

Sincerely, I doubt that customers have in general enough information (at hand) on the leg room and on the on-time performance of any airline companies. Therefore at least 2 over 3 components of this “magic formula” are probably overrated and may be biased… This publication is indeed a good way for Skyscanner to get some cheap advertising but it doesn’t say a lot of good about their surveys…

  2. points toward a free product or stay (63 percent)
  3. special perks or amenities like free meals or Wi-Fi (49 percent). 

Those who stay in hotels for business purposes four or more times per year prefer to earn points toward a free product or stay.

Of those surveyed, the reason they choose a particular hotel:

  • No. 1 : 27% said price
  • No. 2: Quality of accommodations (22%)
  • No. 3: Location (21%)
